Where are the Piparmētras holiday houses?
In Mērsrags, a small fishing village on the Kurzeme coast of the Gulf of Riga, ~96 km (about 1 h 20 min by car) from Riga. The beach, the Mērsrags lighthouse and Engure lake nature park are all nearby.
How many houses are there?
Two: the Forest House (Meža māja), an authentic two-storey log house, and the Meadow House (Pļavas māja), a modern house at the edge of the forest.
Is there a sauna and a hot tub?
Yes. A traditional wood-fired sauna can be booked with either house. The outdoor hot tub is available with the Forest House only.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome in the Forest House. The Meadow House is pet-free.
Are you open in winter?
Yes, we are open all year. The wood-fired sauna makes it a popular winter getaway.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Forest House: check-in from 15:00, check-out by 12:00. Meadow House: check-in from 16:00, check-out by 13:00.
